To love and forgive,
to mourn in great sorrow,
perhaps born of a rib,
or made by collision tomorrow.
Make mistakes and still have love,
the atom bomb, kill at war, or
accidentally raise your glove.
Ability to have pleasuring sex,
brain faster than a computer,
to convert language to text.
Creating new ideas to adapt,
choosing what we believe,
the ability to act,
and the air that helps us breathe.
To think and apply,
and continuously survive.
All these things wrap up our humanity.
