Ellipsis

Running as fast as I can

Away from things I don’t care to understand

Pacing. Panting.

And finding myself,

Right where I started again.

 

Arms bent out to create a shield

There is no defense for what they wield

Forces hit you like light on the skin

Flooding your thoughts

Reminiscing what has been

 

The things so scared to face

This stand will make it erase

Fierce, and strong, and brave

This challenge,

I cannot deprave.

 

Disillusioned and hungry with thirst

to quench to understand what is learnt

With a face off with what I could see

To who I think I should be

It continues… ellipsis.
